Today I wish a happy birthday to my friend Gracie, whom I met just over a year ago when we were both missionary candidates at the Latin America Mission orientation.
Though we were together for less than 2 weeks, Gracie quickly became a friend who was there for me with both her presence and prayers during a tough time, and I am so grateful that I had the chance to get to know her.
Gracie is now living in Lima, Peru where she's working with an organization called Paz y Esperanza (Peace and Hope).
