I just returned from a wonderful week and a half at our cabin on Lake Lida. Last weekend was full of family - my immediate family as well as my "other family," the Polzins - and we mostly kept busy playing with Camille! My mom and I stayed for the rest of the week. We did a little kayaking, swimming and biking....but spent most of our time reading, sleeping or doing nothing at all! It was a gift to have this time to simply be and enjoy the beauty of God's creation.

PS - Jenna has pointed out that it appears that we stopped taking pictures after they (ahem, Camille) left. However, I beg to differ. I did in fact take one picture, and it is such an excellent summary of the remainder of our restful week that I wanted to include it...

My mom and I only played Fast Scrabble once! She wanted a re-match, but we were too busy doing nothing to get around to it :)
