dia del niño!

We had a GREAT time celebrating Dia del Niño (Children's Day) at our church the other day!

A few months ago, we were averaging about 0.5 kids at a service - that being the pastor's son who would usually be sleeping for about half of the time...this past Sunday, there were almost 70 kids there!

In the words of Giovanni (our pastor, who was in our church building during the recent Easter earthquake): "our church was shaking once again...this time, because we had almost 70 children and more than 30 adults dancing for God!"

(Yes, that's our pastor playing the guitar...yes, the one in the orange clown costume...)

One thing that we've been focusing on over the past few months has been our children's ministry program, because we believe that these kids are the future of our church and our community!  If you're interested in donating towards our children's ministry, check out our supply wish list here (we're especially in need of arts & crafts supplies) or our books/videos wishlist here.  Most of all, we ask for your prayers as we love on and disciple these amazing kids!
